Is Conflict Necessary?

In Term 2, our GS topic is conflict and peacebuilding. After diving deeply into this topic, we recognize that conflict is everywhere. It can be found inside us, in our families, in society, and between countries. However, is conflict necessary? Wouldn't the world be better without any fighting? Before coming to a conclusion, we studied different Japanese conflicts throughout history to get a better understanding of conflict and its impact on society. We also shared our learning with 4G and 5G through a play. Through our play, we hope to encourage you to think more deeply about whether conflict is always a bad thing.
