The Sports Festival will be here soon! We have been practicing and preparing hard for it. There will be dancing, cheering, and running events throughout the festival. In addition to these activities, we also have responsibilities to help ensure the event runs smoothly on the day of the festival. What could be better than having fun with friends in club activities? We welcome new classmates to join us and take part in these experiences together. From making bubbles in the Science Club to playing taiko, we get to learn and enjoy opportunities that spark our interest. Each moment adds something special to our school life.

For our Term 1 SAP, we imagined and built our own ideal nations to deepen our understanding of governance. We hoped these countries could help address global challenges and lead to a brighter future. We are back! After a restful summer, we are excited to return and can’t wait to play and learn together again. This term, we also have new members joining our class, and many of our Term 2 goals focus on being good communicators so we can connect with them. Term 2 will be full of learning and activities, such as the sports festival and the graduation trip. Let’s enjoy our time together!

Term 1 has passed so quickly. Studying and learning are not always easy, but doing them together with our friends is what makes school enjoyable. The final week of Term 1 was still full of activities. We went on an excursion to visit the Court of Final Appeal in Hong Kong, and there were many end-of-unit tests. Finally, today was the Lantana Festival, also known as the Happy Festival! We were both nervous and excited about our performance. Every grade gave their best in their show. Watching them motivated us to do our best in our play. We are proud to say that the show went smoothly and was a great success. It was truly a team effort. Go P6!

Over the past few weeks, we have been preparing and practicing for the Lantana Festival. The theme of our performance focuses on the history of Japan, which we studied in Social Studies. We spent time writing scripts and creating props to make our play as realistic and enjoyable as possible. Please look forward to our performance on the day!

This week, we visited the Legislative Council to learn more about governance in Hong Kong. We learned about the work they do and the processes involved in making Hong Kong a better place. We also participated in a role-play activity to experience how Legislative Council members conduct discussions in a meeting. After gaining a deeper understanding of the government in Hong Kong, we will explore how citizens can contribute and become part of the system.
