Walking in Others’ Shoes: P4G’s Visit to Crossroads Foundation

Recently, P4G visited Crossroads Foundation in Hong Kong as part of our research for the Student Action Project on “Water is a limited resource.” 

We learned about the serious challenges faced by people around the world who don’t have reliable access to clean water, and how this affects their daily lives. Then, we took on a powerful challenge to simulate carrying water, helping us understand how much effort many families must make each day just to collect enough.

Crossroads also showed us real solutions, explaining how donations can provide practical equipment and support to communities in need.

To finish our visit, we donated goods we had collected as a class to support those affected by the Tai Po fire—making our trip meaningful, eye-opening, and action-focused.
