This week in science, P4G has been diving deep into the fascinating world of animal anatomy! We started by investigating the structure of bones and muscles in the human body and how these structures enable us to move. This led us to wonder: what are bones and muscles like in different animals?
Each student chose an animal to research and compare to human anatomy. The results were truly fascinating! We discovered that many animals share some similarities with humans. For example, many animals have skulls and rib cages to protect their vital organs. We also learned that joints help both humans and animals bend and move.
However, we also found some incredible differences in how animals are built and how they move. Some animals have unique limbs like wings, fins, or trunks, while others use tails to help them get around. We even learned about animals like snakes that slither without limbs, and octopuses that have no bones at all!
It's amazing to see how animals have evolved different features to move and thrive in their environments. The diversity of animal anatomy is truly remarkable!
