As we step into the third and final term of P5 and welcome the new year 2026, it’s a perfect moment to look back on the past weeks of Term 2. Last term was filled with learning, fun, and meaningful experiences that brought our class closer together and helped us grow in many ways.
Exploring Creativity and Technology at the Genius Workshop
One of the most memorable events was our excursion to the Genius Workshop. There, we had the chance to build and code a recycling robot using LEGO and Scratch. This hands-on activity was not only fun but also taught us valuable skills in programming and engineering. Working in teams, we learned how to bring ideas to life by combining creativity with technology. It was exciting to see our robots move and respond to commands, showing how coding can solve real-world problems like recycling.
Celebrating the Festive Season with Joy
The Christmas party was another highlight of Term 2. The classroom was decorated with colorful lights and festive ornaments, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere. The best surprise was when Santa visited us and handed out gifts. It was a joyful moment that brought smiles to everyone’s faces and reminded us of the spirit of giving and kindness during the holiday season.
Preparing for SAP Presentations
As the term progressed, we focused on our SAP presentations. These presentations required us to research, organize information, and practice speaking clearly. We had several rehearsals to improve our delivery and build confidence. This experience helped us develop important communication skills and taught us how to work under pressure. Sharing our projects with classmates was rewarding and showed how much effort we put into our work.
Sharing Knowledge with the Younger Students
Another special part of Term 2 was when we shared our knowledge with the P1 students. Teaching the younger ones allowed us to review what we had learned and practice explaining concepts in simple ways. It was inspiring to see their curiosity and enthusiasm. This exchange strengthened our sense of responsibility and teamwork.
Saying Goodbye to Friends and Wishing Them Well
Towards the end of the term, two of our classmates left the school. Although we will miss them, we wish them all the best in their new adventures. Their presence enriched our class, and their departure reminds us to cherish the time we have together and support each other.
