Which solids dissolve in water?

Our new science unit is - How Objects Dissolve. The students are fascinated in this topic and have already come up with many ideas for science experiments they would like to try! (Including dissolving a person... we won't be conducting this experiment, don't worry). Our first test was to see what dissolving actual is and wondering which solids indeed dissolve in water?

The experiment went fantastically and we learned a lot! We shall continue to experiment with the concept of dissolving and will change variables to increase our knowledge/ understanding further! Great job P5G!
