General information

As the world becomes more global, the skills we need to succeed must also develop. In light of this, we at Hong Kong Japanese School, have developed a course which focuses on enhancing students' communicative competence in English as well as developing　the　key　skills　required　to　succeed　in　our　modern　society　while　still　encouraging　the students to form their unique identity as Japanese global citizens.

今日のように変化の激しいグローバル社会を主体的に生き抜いていく児童を育成するために、香港日本人学校は新たな特色あるコース「グローバルクラス」を創設します。グローバルクラスでは、ただ単に英語力を身につけるだけでなく、日本人学校の特色を生かし、日本の学習指導要領に基づく教育や学校生活を行いながら、英語力や新科目グローバルスタディーズに力を入れ、これからの社会に必要な人材を育成します。

Aims of the Global Class　育てたい児童像

• To develop students’ English proficiency so that they are better equipped to communicate internationally.
  グローバル社会で通用する英語コミュニケーション能力を身に着ける。

• To encourage students to develop the global skills required to succeed in the 21st century such as analytical skills, presentation skills, research skills and problem solving skills.
  分析力やプレゼンテーション力、調査力、課題解決力等の21世紀に必要なグローバルスキルを培う。

• To encourage students to become responsible global citizens while still maintaining their identity as Japanese citizens.
  日本人としての意識を持ちながら、グローバル市民としての主体性を育む。
