What dissolves in water? What is "dissolve" anyway?!?!

As you will know, the process of dissolving is "when a solid becomes incorporated into a liquid so as to form a solution". This is a process we all know well... with our morning tea, or coffee, when baking a cake or even when taking a painkiller! 5G wanted to find our the science behind this common practice and so we decided to first find out what substances/ solids dissolve in ordinary tap water... here's what we found out...
