Typhoon? Hurricane? Tropical Cyclone? What do they mean?
Typhoons are a common phenomena in both Japan and Hong Kong. Therefore, it is essential that our students learn about these wonderous and dangerous weather formations. Every year, many people are threatened by raging typhoons , strong winds, rain and even high waves can all be devastating to cities and countries all around the world. However, what makes it a Typhoon? What makes it a Hurricane? Are they the same? 5G conducted deep research to find out these pieces of information and used their excellent presentations skills, that they've been practicing a lot recently, to discuss what they had found out with the rest of their peers. I was very impressed with the things we found out! They even came up with their own suggestions about how individuals and countries can keep safe or prepare for an incoming Typhoon!
