Japanese Fisherman Tajima Lecture!
At HKJS, we have been lucky enough to have been visited by the association that governs and runs the fishing all around Japan. They came to explain to the students how this still thriving business is run and how the day to day workings keep Japanese fish products being one of the best in the world. They went into great detail about the export of fish, distribution around Japan and how the individuals that are a part of it are involved. The students were absolutely fascinated by the lecture and asked many questions to the association. This meeting gave great insights for the students about an industry that is integral to Japan and Japanese history.
